NEW Online Wet Felting Class - Flower Jewelry & Hair Accessories

Sep 24, 2021

After finally relaxing from the experience of confinement and COVID, I returned to work at the beginning of September. My 2 weeks break took me to the Camino de Santiago - the Camino Frances - where I was surrounded by Nature and quiet.

Maybe that's what made me want to start felting flowers again :) So, I picked up some of my short video workshops and did a total makeover, converting them into a NEW flower jewelry and hair accessories course.

I had lots of fun exploring shape and color, and I created very simple, as well as more sophisticated flowers.

If you find this an interesting topic, I invite you to take a look at the class details. Registration opens tomorrow, September 25th. The course starts on October 2nd and has the duration of 2 weeks.

Feel free to respond to this email if you have any questions.

10 Tips On Wet Felting – How To Wet Felt A Ball Necklace

May 03, 2018

Today I’ve got a fun tutorial that shows you how to wet felt a ball necklace for children. It’s called Kid’s Dots, and it’s a piece I’ve sold for a long time. Now you get to see how it’s done (for FREE)

I decided to film this project because Stacy Tavassoli from Truly Majestic invited me to create a tutorial for her arm knitting community. Arm knitting is done with big amounts of wool roving, the same we use for wet felting. But it produces lots of scraps that you can’t use for knitting any more.

So here it is for you. It’s an easy tutorial, which is great for beginners. You won’t need much equipment. Actually, you probably have everything you need at home already. And it shows you 10 tips that are useful for other felting projects.

I’d love to see how your necklaces turned out, so click here to send me your photos

Have fun!

The ENGLISH ROSE BROOCH Video Workshop - Now Available

May 24, 2017

About two months ago I published the English Rose PDF tutorial. But if you prefer seeing how all the details are made, there’s a huge advantage in video. And that’s why I’m now releasing the English Rose Video Workshop.

Here’s the introduction, to give you a taste of what you can expect.

The English Rose is a flower that has been designed primarily to be applied on brooches. But you can use it for hair accessories or anything else you might think of. And, of course, you can make bigger or smaller versions of it.

What’s particular about this workshop is that you’ll be learning how to wet felt a flower that is extremely light weight, but resistant at the same time. And that’s all due to this mix technique (needle and wet felting) and the wool type I use.

This is an intermediate level workshop, so you should have experience felting and feel confident with the wool already. The project should take you about 3 to 4 hours to complete.

You’ll...

Hello!

Today I’ve got something really special for you!

This has been one of my best sellers for years and I finally decided to teach it, so it’s now available as an eBook.

The English Rose is a flower that has been designed primarily to be applied on brooches. But you can use it for hair accessories or anything else you might think of. It’s guaranteed to make any outfit stand out!

What’s particular about this workshop is that it teaches you how to wet felt a flower that is extremely light weight (8 to 12 grams), but resistant at the same time. And that’s all due to this mix technique and the wool type I use.

The workshop includes a tutorial PDF (43 pages and over 200 photos), plus a second one with the leaf templates.

How To Wet Felt A Flower Brooch Or Hairpin

Jul 28, 2016

Hi!

I´m very excited to announce my new video series. It’s called The Weekend Project and it’s designed to bring you inspiration to dive into easy-to-do textile projects, that you can start and finish during the weekend. I thought you might like something to decompress from the stress of the week.

The first episode is on how to wet felt a flower brooch or hairpin, that can even make for a great gift for a friend. And the best thing is YOU DON’T NEED ANY EXPERIENCE IN WET FELTING, because I’ve designed it for beginners.

If you have any questions, you can always refer back to my previous videos on how to felt a sheet and a cord.

And, of course, I’m always here to answer your questions.

Enjoy!
